To provide our core services, such as the "Panic Button" and connecting you with local contractors or machinery within a specific radius, we collect:
Precise Location Data: We collect your GPS coordinates while the app is in use to facilitate real-time agricultural service matching.
Approximate Location: Used for general mapping and regional service availability.
C. Device and Usage Data
We automatically collect information about your device (model, OS version) and how you interact with the App to ensure technical stability and improve performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
Facilitate connections between farmers and contractors.
Operate the Emergency Panic Button feature by sharing your location with relevant service providers in your area.
Send SMS notifications via third-party providers (like Twilio).
Maintain and improve App functionality and security.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following cases:
With Other Users: Your name and location are shared with users you choose to interact with for service requests.
Service Providers: We share data with trusted partners (e.g., Twilio for SMS) who help us operate the App.
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect your data in transit. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information as long as your account is active.
Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App settings or by emailing us at info@aghelp.ca .
Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data from our active databases within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
