How to Request Account Deletion
The pathway to request account deletion should be prominently featured and easily discoverable. You can request the permanent deletion of your account and data using either of the following methods:
Option 1: In-App
Open the AgHelp app and log in to your account.
Navigate to your Account Settings.
Select "Delete Account" and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
Option 2: Via Email
Send an email to your designated support email (info@aghelp.ca) from the email address registered to your account.
Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
Include a brief statement confirming your request to permanently delete your account and data.
Data Deletion and Retention Practices
When you request account deletion, we process the request by removing your unique user identity. Temporary account deactivation, disabling, or “freezing” the app account does not qualify as account deletion.
Data Deleted: We will permanently delete your personal data, including your name, email address, phone number, and any associated personally identifiable information. We will also delete your app activity and history.
Data Retained: We may retain specific data elements strictly for legitimate reasons, such as security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance. For example, financial and payment information or transaction records related to past services may be securely retained for standard financial reporting periods.
